We believe in being upfront about costs so you can plan with confidence. While every project is unique, here’s what you can expect to start your budget in 2025:

• Starting from $5,000 — for smaller updates such as smaller decks, smaller awnings, manual projection awnings and screens, minor window or door installations.
   
• Starting from $10,000 — for medium size outdoor renovations like larger patio covers, pergolas, porch enclosures, motorized projection awnings or motorized screens, and full deck and patio projects.
   
• Starting from $20,000 — for major transformations such as sunrooms, siding, or full exterior renovations.
   

These ranges are designed to give you a realistic starting point. Once we meet with you and discuss the details of your project, we’ll provide a tailored quote so you know exactly what to expect—no surprises.

Getting started early is the best way to secure today’s pricing and protect yourself from future cost increases due to inflation. Plus, we install year-round, so you don’t have to wait for a “perfect season” to move forward.

Here are a few smart ways to plan ahead:

• Winter: The ideal time to place your order for a spring patio cover. By starting now, your project will be ready in time for summer—so you can make the most of your outdoor space when the weather is at its best.
   
• Summer: A great time to plan for room enclosures or to cover basement access. This ensures you’ll be cozy, protected, and ready to enjoy your new space throughout the fall and winter months.
   

Whenever you decide to begin, we’ll make the process simple, stress-free, and perfectly timed to fit your lifestyle.

From the moment you reach out, we make the process as easy as possible. We’ll schedule a convenient on-site consultation with Taylor, our owner, who will personally meet with you to discuss your vision. During this visit (about 30–60 minutes), Taylor will take accurate measurements and walk you through design options and important details to ensure your project is tailored to your needs.

Within a week, you’ll receive a clear, detailed quotation and scope of work so you’ll know exactly what to expect- no surprises. If you decide to move forward with us, we’ll simply collect a deposit to secure your project and order materials right away. You’ll also be given a realistic timeframe so you can plan with confidence.

When your materials are ready, we’ll schedule your installation at a time that works best for you. Once the project is complete, we’ll review everything together to ensure you’re satisfied before final payment is made.

At Northern Porch & Patio, our goal is to deliver a smooth, transparent experience from start to finish- so all you need to do is enjoy your new outdoor space.

Absolutely! Even if we didn’t build your outdoor structure, we can often enclose it and transform it into a functional, protected space you’ll enjoy year-round. We may even be able save you some of your hard earned money!

The only exception is big-box store structures or most DIY gazebos. These typically lack the structural integrity and proper measurements needed for a safe, long-lasting and functional enclosure.
